CITC 1332 UNIX/LINUX OS3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides a thorough overview of the UNIX and LINUX operating systems. Emphasis is placed on the user interface, terminology and command structure within the multi-task/multiuser environment. Electronic mail and communications standards are covered along with standard UNIX/LINUX utilities needed to support the automated office.
Prerequisite(s): CITC 1301 and CITC 1323 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
