MEET 1164 Machines Technology II3 Credit Hour(s) This course is a continuation of MEET 1144 (Machines Technology I). Students will learn advanced machining techniques which will enable them to fabricate more complex parts using manual mills and lathes. Students will work on more advanced machining projects which have been designed to enhance their metalworking skills. NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) standards will continue to be emphasized throughout this course.
Prerequisite(s): MEET 1144 or approval of program coordinator This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
