IPCT 2310 Process Technology II3 Credit Hour(s) This course is an introduction to operations within the process technology industry. Students use existing knowledge of equipment, systems, and instrumentation to understand the operation of an entire unit. Study concepts related to commissioning, normal operations, normal shutdown, turnarounds, and abnormal situations, as well as the Process Technician’s role in performing the tasks associated with these concepts.
Prerequisite(s): IPCT 1315 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
