CITC 2353 Tactical Perimeter Defense3 Credit Hour(s) An examination of how software and hardware can be used to provide a perimeter of defense in protecting resources, and how security is addressed in both wireless and wired networks. Topics include the use of tools such as wireless access points, proxy servers, VPNs, auditing, intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
Prerequisite(s): CITC 1351 Principles of Information Assurance This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
