ECED 2095 School-Age Curriculum 3 Credit Hour(s) A study of developmentally appropriate practices and the teacher’s role in supporting development of children, ages five-14. An emphasis on planning curriculum that is based on the needs of school-age children, setting goals, planning the environment, selecting materials and roles of staff and parents. Field experience is required. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
