GART 1005 Creativity and Idea Development 3 Credit Hour(s) This class will focus on the fundamentals of creative brainstorming and application of creativity in the graphic design process. Topics will include brainstorming techniques along with a variety of assignments to form a truly inspired design. Emphasis will be placed on using graphics and typography to effectively communicate a clear message through class projects, discussion and critique. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
