MATH 1530 Introductory Statistics 3 Credit Hour(s) This course is a study of basic statistical concepts including data organization and analysis, frequency distribution, measures of central tendency and dispersion. Other topics in this course include: probability theory and distributions, sampling methods, estimation, regression and correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing. Students with math deficiencies must register for an enhanced section of MATH 1530 and the support course MATH 0530. Prerequisite(s): Math ACT score of 19 or above OR equivalent.
