PHIL 2020 Introduction to World Religions 3 Credit Hour(s) PHIL 2020 is a survey of the development of religions from tribal cultures to present day societies. This course provides the student with a general knowledge of the major religions that exist in the world today as well as an understanding of their origins, development, and adaptation to present day social and political situations. In addition to these major religions, this course will provide an insight into past religions and spiritual thinking and analyze how they influenced religious thoughts that persist to this day. This course is equivalent to PHIL 201. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 or equivalent.
