LEGL 2355 Immigration Law 3 Credit Hour(s) This course addresses immigration law and procedure in the United States. Materials focus on statutory and regulatory aspects of the immigration process and students review and prepare various documents involved in the immigration process. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of the concept of citizenship;
- demonstrate an understanding of the role of government in establishing immigration policies;
- demonstrate an understanding of the application procedures for entry by aliens into the United States;
- demonstrate an understanding of the grounds for deportation of aliens from the United States; and,
- demonstrate an understanding of procedures for removal of aliens from the United States.
Prerequisite(s): LEGL 1300 with a grade of “C” or better
