LEGL 2365 Intellectual Property 3 Credit Hour(s) Students explore various aspects of intellectual property, including the laws and principles related to patent, trademark, copyright, signature mark, trade secrets and licensing. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. demonstrate understanding of the role of government in regulating intellectual property rights;
2. demonstrate an understanding of the principles of copyrights;
3. demonstrate an understanding of the principles of trademarks;
4. demonstrate an understanding of the principles of patents; and,
5. demonstrate an understanding of the principles of trade secrets.
