ENGL 2100 Writing for the Internet and Electronic Media 3 Credit Hour(s) In this course, students will explore the basics of writing for the Internet and electronic media by choosing and developing a project that they will ultimately promote through electronic media using the methodology learned during this course. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- compose text for a variety of digital and electronic media.
- evaluate the process of promotion in a digital environment.
- outline and formulate audience-based documents.
- appraise the influence of the Internet on their ability to communicate with the world.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
