The Fire Science Associate of Applied Science degree provides training to meet the critical needs of the fire departments in Shelby County, Fayette County and West Tennessee. The program was developed to meet the National Fire Academy standards and to enhance the capabilities of firefighters in the Mid-South region. The Fire Science program intergrates general education and strong career preparation to develop well-rounded fire science professionals.

Total Program Credits: 60/61
*Either class may be taken to receive the amount of credit. These are guided electives.
