The financial services industry is a dynamic field in which dramatic economic and legal changes are challenging the traditions of all financial institutions. The Business Finance program at Southwest trains students to function in this changing environment.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Summarize the Federal Reserve’s role in regulation and agent of monetary policy.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of the entrepreneurial process.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of logistics’ place in the supply chain.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of the American free enterprise system.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the of decision-making process in an organizational setting (TBR).
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of managing growth in a small business.
