FSED 2060 Restorative Art 4 Credit Hour(s) This course prepares the student to recognize and apply the various restorative and cosmetology techniques used in the restoration of the deceased. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will know or understand:
- the purpose of restorative art.
- the importance of facial and bone and muscle identification.
- the application of appropriate reconstruction techniques.
- the use and application of color theory and cosmetics.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to AAS/FSE Program, FSED 2020 and FSED 2030 ; must pass all FSED designated courses with a grade of C or higher to progress to next level course Corequisite(s): FSED 2040 and FSED 2050 ; must pass all FSED designated courses with a grade of C or higher to progress to next level course This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
