ARCH 2736 Principles Construction Specs2 Credit Hour(s) A fundamental understanding of written construction documents is essential for organizing, preparing, using, and interpreting written construction documents, including specifications used in the design and construction industry. This course includes a study of bidding requirements, contract requirements, and specifications. Also included are content, language, and format, used in specification writing and the role of material selection and evaluation in the specification writing process.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
