FIRE 2330 Fire Behavior and Combustion3 Credit Hour(s) This course focuses on the theories and fundamentals of how and why fires start, spread and how they are controlled. Fire and the physical world, properties of fuels, chemical chain reactions, extinguishment agents and their effects are also covered.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
