PHYS 2010 Non-Calculus Physics I 4 Credit Hour(s) This is the first of a two-semester lab course for science majors, pre-professional students and pre-engineering students. Topics include vectors with application to statics, kinematics and dynamics, Newton’s laws and their applications to motion and equilibrium, concepts and applications of energy and momentum conservation principles, harmonic motion, and thermodynamics. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1710 or MATH 1720 or MATH 1740 , or MATH 1830 or permission of instructor
